RETIRED SYVUHS TEACHER AND VOLLEYBALL COACH

Ronald "Chip" Fenenga significantly impacted Santa Ynez High School with his 30+ years of teaching and his volleyball coaching, leading the boys' team to seven CIF Southern Section championships and the girls' team to seven league titles since starting in 1989. Despite his humble beginnings in volleyball, his innovative coaching and resilience, especially during his battle with stage 4 cancer, have left a lasting legacy. Fenenga, who has been cancer-free for years, is also a CIF Hall of Famer, celebrated for his positivity, teamwork, and resilience in coaching.

Efren Pulido is a Santa Ynez Valley native and 1996 Graduate of SYHS. After serving our country overseas in the Marines, Efren returned to the Santa Ynez Valley. Today Efren is real estate professional and entrepreneur and most importantly father to three and dedicated husband.

Robin graduated from the Santa Ynez Valley High School in 1998 and married her high school sweetheart, Kevin. She and Kevin have three kids, all Pirates. Robin works for Serritslev Norwine, CPAs in Solvang. She has served on the boards of the Santa Ynez Valley Therapeutic Riding Program and the Solvang School Education Foundation.

Mark is a lifelong Santa Ynez Valley Resident and SYHS graduate from the class of 1996. Today he lives in Los Olivos with his wife Erika and their two children Kendall (15) and Ryder (12). Raised in a family of equine veterinarians, Mark took an early interest in equine health and nutrition. He studied Agriculture Business and Food Science at Cal Poly State University. In 1997, while in college, Mark co-founded Platinum Performance, a nutrition focused animal health company. For over 20 years Mark led the company as CEO until its acquisition in 2019.

Kristen graduated from Santa Ynez Valley High School in 1987 and today lives in Solvang with her husband Pete and their two active children Keddy (18) and Cooper (16). Kristen works for the City of Buellton in the the Recreation Department and has been in public service for 19 years. In partnership with community members, she helped lead the project development of Sunny Fields Park, the Solvang Skatepark and the weekly Farmer's Market. She has served on the Boards of the Santa Ynez Valley Foundation, Solvang School Education Foundation and currently serves on the board of the SYV Community Aquatics Foundation. In her free time she enjoys camping, hiking, gardening and spending time with
